The TIQ Java Service Connector (for Qlik) is a proprietary software product of TIQ Solutions GmbH and it neither collects, stores or transfers any personal data. It only stores data of the behaviour (logging) of itself and in connection with Qlik(R) Sense and QlikView(R) to give your developers and operational team a technical feedback. You can disable logging by selecting “Off” in the tab “Java VM Options” in the TIQ Java Service Configurator for the “Logging Level”. Also you can look at the stored logs by pressing “Open Log-Folder” at any time.
Sales and after sales process
If you send us requests by the contact form, your information – including the contact details provided there – will be stored in our email and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems for the purpose of processing the request, create an offer and to organize the communication between us. If you like to download the TIQ Java Service Connector (for Qlik) offered on our website, we require your email address as well as information which allows us to check that you are the owner of the provided email address and that you agreed to the License Agreement.
We only collect the data absolutely necessary for the sales process and assure you a purposeful and careful use of your personal data. In doing so, we observe the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Your data is transmitted to our server in encrypted form and is protected against unauthorized access, manipulation and loss on our systems. We do not transmit your data to third parties without your consent. For the sales process and to ensure the compliance of the terms of the End User License Agreement (EULA) we need to collect your name, surname, company name, entire postal address of your company and your email address. To deliver the best support during the trial period you could provide us you phone number and the job position you have in your company. For ensuring the compliance with the trial period and the terms of the EULA we store your data for twelve (12) months and afterwards your data will be deleted from our system.
If you accept our offer we will need some extra data to complete the order process like VAT ID, contact of the responsible person to purchase the software, contact of the responsible person to install and configure the TIQ Java Service Connector (for Qlik) and of the authorised person to sign the contract. We will store that data in our accounting and invoice system as well for the purpose of managing the order and the invoice process. Also we use your provided data to provide you with the aligned support and information relating to your subscription contract. Additionally we will use contact details of the responsible for the TIQ Java Service Connector (for Qlik) in your company in our issue tracking system to reference your requests. TIQ Solutions GmbH has an external accountancy firm which will use your data to be able to process billing and accounting. The revenue code (Abgabenordnung), paragraph § 147 prescribes a retention period of ten (10) years for accounting records, so we have to store the relevant data for this period.
Systems which use personal data
TIQ Solutions uses Microsoft Office 365 to receive, send and store emails and uses Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Sales to deliver its customers the information they need during the ordering process and to ensure the compliance with the trial period and the terms of the EULA of the TIQ Java Service Connector (for Qlik). Microsoft is committed to the security and privacy of customer data and therefore has installed a Service Trust Portal (more information see: https://servicetrust.microsoft.com/ViewPage/HomePage).
For billing and accounting TIQ Solutions GmbH uses Collmex, an online software tool. Collmex GmbH, Lilienstr. 37, 66119 Saarbrücken is a German company and provides its services in Germany only. For additional information see https://www.collmex.de/datenschutz.html. The accounting processes is supported by an external accountancy firm, Steuerberatung Merzdorf, Klingenstr. 2, 04229 Leipzig, Germany. All its company locations are in Germany and therefore underlay the strong regulations of the EU data protection rules (GDPR).
To deliver you support during your subscription period we use an On-Premises installation of the issue tracking system Atlassian Jira. All your data is stored on our systems.
Access, rectification and erasure
According to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) you have the right of information, free of charge, regarding the origin, the recipients and the purpose of your stored personal data. You have the right of rectification and blocking of data for further use and deletion of that data. TIQ Solutions GmbH is not using any solution for automated decision making and profiling regarding your data. A data transfer of your data to third countries is not intended.
