With the Signal Search App, sensor data sets (e.g. of machines and production plants) can be searched for characteristic patterns. The underlying signal analysis methods using linear regression allow multivariate, nonlinear patterns to be detected in the data (e.g. trends, non-stationarities), compared visually with the search pattern in the time domain and displayed graphically.
In addition, existing error and alarm messages can also be integrated into the search. In this way, possible correlations between sensor progressions and the occurrence of faults in the past can be investigated and thus support data-driven cause research. The tool enables the technical side to carry out a self-controlled explorative analysis of the data and can help to make more objective decisions regarding the configuration and operation of the machine or system.
